Alexis Garcia-Ruiz is a senior and copy editor. This is her first year on staff and she looks to improve the voice and quality of reporting in her writing. Outside of newspaper, Alexis enjoys reading empowering literature, creating art and spending time with her much loved dog (and friends too, sometimes).
