On Feb. 19, H&H Bagels, a popular New York City bagel shop, opened in the Suniland shopping center. The opening of H&H Bagels has been in the works since H&H Bagels officially announced their Pinecrest location grand opening for Thursday, February 19, 2026, via social media around February 12-13, 2026, exciting Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay residents with the thought of a new local spot. The line at the grand opening was already out the door at 7:00 a.m., with people eager to taste their bagels. In fact, the first 250 customers in line received a free tote bag with their purchase. 

The shop offers a variety of options for customers, ranging from a plain bagel to a custom sandwich made with personalized toppings from their toppings bar. They also offer an extensive selection of cream cheese, so people can enjoy their bagels at home, too. 

This bagel shop provides Floridians with a true “New York” bagel, looking to take the spot as their number one breakfast item. A majority of the customers, with and without New York roots, are excited for H&H Bagels to become a part of their weekly routine.
