Taylor Swift Announces Tour

On Nov. 1, Taylor Swift announced that she will be going on a long-anticipated tour named “The Eras Tour,” after the release of her latest album “Midnights.” This will be her first tour since 2018 and will include songs from her past albums, a combination of everything country, pop and folk-centric. In fact, all albums from her discography are expected to be shown: “Taylor Swift,” “Fearless,” “Speak Now,” “Red,” “1989,” “Reputation,” “Lover,” “Folklore,” “Evermore,” “Midnights” and re-recorded Taylor’s Version of her original music. 

A program through Ticketmaster allows fans to register early for presale tickets starting on Nov. 9. Her presale tickets will be available from Nov. 15-17 and official tickets will be on sale on Nov. 18. The average ticket will range from $49-$449, while VIP packages can go as high as $889. 

Swift will begin her journey Mar. 18 in Arizona and stop in other locations such as Las Vegas, Chicago and Tampa. Her tour will end in Los Angeles on Aug. 5. Her tour will also include opening acts from Paramore, Haim, Phoebe Bridgers, Beabadoobee, Girl in Red, Gayle, Gracie Abrams and Owenn. 

This announcement has had fans in a frenzy after receiving a lot of content from Swift within the past month including the additions to “Midnights,” and this four-month-long tour will ensure fans a ticket with 26 shows in 20 cities.
