From Friday, Nov. 27 to Sunday, Jan. 3, Pinecrest Gardens holds their annual Nights of Lights event, known for its spectacular and eye-catching twinkling lights that turn the gardens into a magical winter wonderland.

Known as “South Florida’s Cultural Arts Park,” Pinecrest Gardens hosts all of its events with the intention to capture the beauty of art, culture and its botanical gardens. The gardens are located at 11000 SW 57th Ave, Pinecrest, FL 33156.

This year, the gardens have new light displays, as well as surprises in the lower gardens. Visitors also have a chance to speak with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus as the duo makes special appearances at the Banyan Bowl stage.

The event has many treats that visitors can choose from, including their signature cocktails. On select days, admissions include performances from their holiday concert at the Banyan Bowl stage.

Pre-ordering tickets online costs $7.00 per person, and children under the age of two can enter for free. The event occurs from 6:00 p.m-10:00 p.m each day. If not sold out, one may purchase walk-up tickets.

Due to COVID-19, Pinecrest Gardens has implemented precautionary measures to protect the health and safety of all visitors and staff, such as establishing social distancing guidelines and limiting the capacity of the event to 400 people.

“There is a Christmas tree lighting, there are flamingos that are made up within a bundle of lights, as well as swans and regular Christmas lighting decor,” Pinecrest Gardens park service aid of Pinecrest Gardens said.

Storytimes with Mrs.Claus and Santa take place during the time of 6:30-8:00 p.m, on most of the event days.

The Night of Lights brings holiday spirit to Miami and lights up both Pinecrest and Pinecrest Gardens. For more information, please visit the Pinecrest Gardens website and enjoy the Nights of Lights.
