Free Week of McDonald’s Breakfast for Educators

Kate Stuzin, Managing Editor

From Oct. 11 to Oct. 15, teachers, administrators and school staff can receive a free “Thank You” meal as a tribute to their hard work.

Educators must present a valid work I.D at the cashier or drive-thru to receive their meal.

Menus may vary by location, but educators can choose between an Egg McMuffin, a Sausage Biscuit or a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit. The meal also includes a side of hashbrowns and drink — either a medium McCafe coffee, iced tea or a soft drink.

McDonald’s will serve the meals inside Happy Meal boxes, but instead of a toy, educators will receive a thank you note.

McDonald’s invites everyone to participate in the campaign and show their educator’s love by using the #ThankYouMeal on social media. You can download and personalize a free e-Thank You card to send to educators.

This campaign serves as a follow-up to McDonald’s “Thank You” meals for first responders during the height of the pandemic last year. Teacher appreciation events at local restaurants also inspired the campaign.
