On Jan. 9, 2021, television personality and stand-up comedian Bob Saget was found dead in an Orlando hotel. He was 65.

Saget was in Florida for a comedy tour, and his plan was to travel to multiple cities in the state throughout January.

While Saget suffered from scleroderma, he had lived with it his entire life, and it does not seem to be the likely cause of death. When first responders arrived, Saget was pronounced dead on the scene. After an initial autopsy, examiners say there was no evidence of drugs or foul play, but note the final autopsy may take several months.

Saget was a stand-up comedian, television host and most notably, an actor. Best known for his role as Danny Tanner on ABC’s “Full House” and its Netflix sequel “Fuller House,” Saget also narrated CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother.” From 1989-1997, he also hosted the show “America’s Funniest Videos.”
