There are two types of people in the world: night owls and early birds and those that wake with the sun are more likely to eat the most important meal of the day. Here in Miami, there are various dining options to make every breakfast lover’s mouth water.

La Boulangerie Boul’Mich

For over 20 years, La Boulangerie Boul’Mich has remained a staple breakfast spot for South Floridians. The French artisanal bakery is known for its delicious dishes, ranging from simple baked items such as croissants to their toast and sandwich offerings, as well as their family-friendly ambiance. Currently, from Jan. 22-28, La Boulangerie Boul’Mich is holding its Croissant Week, with different flavor croissants on sale 50% off each day. Located in community-oriented areas such as Pinecrest, Coral Gables and Doral, this restaurant serves as a top breakfast and brunch spot for locals to jump-start their day.

Little Hen

Gaining popularity for its charming setting and aesthetic photo opportunities, Little Hen has become a destination breakfast spot for locals and tourists alike. Creating their own take on 1800s English cuisine, Little Hen serves as a romantic restaurant for friends and family to spend time in Miami’s posh neighborhood, Midtown. Staying true to English traditions, the restaurant offers afternoon tea, along with their twist on a breakfast classic: pancakes with rose water-infused maple syrup.

Pura Vida

Debuting in Miami Beach in 2012, health-conscious restaurant and wellness brand Pura Vida has recently obtained a loyal following in the past decade. Rebranding to match Miami’s chic, beachy vibe, Pura Vida’s all-day breakfast menu provides healthier food options without sacrificing appetizing flavors. Vegan walnut chocolate chip cookies lead the way, along with their vegan overnight oats.

First Watch

From the west to the east coast, First Watch has become the fastest-growing full-service chain restaurant in the U.S.. A reliable and consistent place for breakfast enthusiasts, First Watch captures every guests’ taste buds and heart. Their wide range of menu options and friendly staff ensure that all guests enjoy their morning meals. Keeping up-to-date with the early birds of the world, First Watch releases various seasonal menus, expanding guests to an even larger food horizon as they “follow the sun.” Opening a new location in Kendall at 8801 SW 136th Street, this standard breakfast chain will add on to their 120 Florida locations.

Sergio’s

A go-to spot for all Hispanics in South Florida, Sergio’s is a restaurant serving authentic Cuban dishes with modern takes all-day long. In particular, their food at breakfast time is a hit, complete with the loud chatter of families starting their day off. Whether enjoying their tostada y café con leche or digging into one of their various tortilla dishes, Sergio’s never fails to meet your breakfast cravings.
