For the first time since 2000, the Indianapolis Pacers reached the NBA Finals after beating the New York Knicks in Game Six of the series. Pascal Siakam and Tyrese Haliburton led the team with a combined 52 points, and helped push the Pacers into the finals. The Pacers will face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder starting on June 2 in Oklahoma City. 

Statistically, these two teams have had the highest win percentage during the season and postseason since January 1, with the Pacers having a 71.9% win percentage and the Thunder having 80.3%. 

The league’s Most Valuable Player this year was given to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is the Thunder’s star player. He has been the power source of the team this year, and someone the league has been watching closely.
