On Sept. 8, two juveniles were shot at Uvalde Memorial Park in Uvalde, Texas. The park held the memorial dedicated to the 19 children and two teachers who were killed during the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School on May 24.

The shooting occurred just three months after the Uvalde massacre, with Uvalde students returning to school for the first time this week, since enduring the mass shooting.

A third grader at the time of the Robb Elementary school shooting, who has since been diagnosed with PTSD and depression, was present at Uvalde Memorial Park during Thursday’s shooting. While loading up the family car to leave the park, Aubriella Ibarra witnessed her second shooting.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the shooting is assumed to be “gang-related.” Authorities responded to the shooting at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The victims of the shooting are currently being treated at a San Antonio hospital, where their conditions remain unknown. Four suspects are currently in custody.
