February 11, 2019

Kauai is one of the lesser-known Hawaiian islands, but definitely not the least beautiful. Full of things to do and see, Kauai remains an amazing travel destination for anybody wanting to visit the wonders of Hawaii.

Kauai Backcountry Adventures:

This exciting tubing and zipline adventure company makes for an ideal activity for anyone looking to experience Kauai’s beautiful sights while getting the adventure they crave. The tour guides are  kind and accommodating, and the views are incredible. For anyone looking to go ziplining, Kauai Backcountry takes customers up the Wai’ale’ale mountain and showcases seven different scenic areas. Visitors may recognize the mountain, as it appeared in various iconic films such as “Jurassic World,” and inspired part of the movie “Avatar.” Visitors can also go tubing through historic irrigation tunnels from the old Lihue Plantation, an extremely unique way to experience Kauai’s history. At the end of every tour, Kauai Backcountry provides snacks and drinks.

Luau Kalamaku:

This immersive luau in Kauai provides the perfect night for anyone wanting to experience the local culture. Through the food, hula dancing and poi ball twirlers, visitors get the chance to witness Hawaiian history throughout the decades. The luau features the story of travels between Hawaii and Tahiti, along with ancient Hawaiian mythology. This is a fantastic experience and widely considered the best luau on the island.

Capt Andy’s:

Regarded as one of the most beautiful sights in Kauai, the Na Pali coast remains incredibly hard to see. However, Capt Andy’s is one of the few tour companies that gives visitors an up-close look at it. Throughout their multiple tours, they attempt to bring visitors as close as possible to the elusive beauty that is the west coast of Kauai. They provide a delicious meal, along with the chance to see wildlife such as whales and local fish.
