Graceland, Elvis Presley’s iconic estate, currently faces the threat of being sold out of the Presley family in a public auction. The estate is currently under the control of Riley Keough. Keough is the daughter of the late Lisa Marie Presley and granddaughter of Elvis. Receiving control of the estate and family trust in 2023 after her mother’s death and a months-long fight with Priscilla Presley, the dispute ended in a settlement with Keough as the sole trustee.
Naussany Investments and Private Lending is the company seeking to auction off Graceland. The company cited an unpaid loan of $3.8 million from Lisa Marie. Keough has sued the company claiming that this is not a real entity and that Lisa Marie Presley’s signature had been forged. The lawsuit claims that though a signature appears to have been notarized in Florida in 2018, the notary has denied notarizing the document.
As of now, the judge has granted Keough a restraining order, barring any sale of the estate for the time being.
