On Feb. 15, an anonymous suspect opened gunfire around the food court inside the Cielo Visto Mall in El Paso, Texas killing one and injuring three.

The shooting was reported at 5:05 p.m., and within three minutes of the shooting, off-duty officers who were working in the mall had responded and arrested a suspect without firing a weapon.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three were taken to local hospitals, with two of them being in critical condition. All the victims were males.

Currently, two male suspects have been taken into custody and no details about their ages, names or descriptions have been released to the public.

The mall sits next to a Walmart where a racially-motivated mass shooting occurred in August 2019, killing 23 people.

So far this year, there have been over 70 mass shootings across the United States.
