Listen to Life in Color (LIC) – December 27, 2013

Also known as “The World’s Largest Paint Party,” LIC blends music, dance, art and paint into one high energy experience. It began in 2006 on college campuses in Florida and now takes place over 200 times a year in cities throughout the country. The tour features acts from a wide variety of electronic artists and they set the stage for their first full-blown music festival at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium. You must be at least 16 to enter and the concert will last all day and night. The line-up includes performances by Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, Major Lazer, Excision and 2 Chainz.

Laugh at George Lopez- January 4, 2014

Head to the Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL for a night of laughs at the George Lopez comedy show! Ticketmaster rates his performance a high 4.3/5 stars. “The George Lopez show was so funny! My friends and I couldn’t stop talking about the show all weekend long,” commented Fuego617, a Ticketmaster reviewer. “Our cheeks hurt at the end of the show from laughing so much! I hope he comes back again!”

Eat at The Juice Spot

Mid December, Lebron James’ wife Savannah opened The Juice Spot, an organic juice bar in Brickell. The store sells freshly made juices, smoothies and a variety of healthy treats including oatmeal and an Acai bowl. Head to 1800 SW 1st Ave to check it out and support Miami’s beloved basketball star!

 Watch the Orange Bowl Basketball Classic- December 21, 2013

Head to the BB&T center for the annual MetroPCS Orange Bowl Basketball Classic. The University of Florida Gator and Florida State University Seminoles will both play in the classic. The event begins at 2:00 p.m. and the second game begins approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first. Tickets start at $38.

Y100’s annual Jingle Ball concert features a variety of artists including Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, Austin Mahone, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Armin Van Buuren, Enrique Iglesias and Fall Out Boy. The event takes place at the BB&T Center at 7:30 p.m.  Hurry to purchase your tickets!
