What: Come watch the popular American ska punk band from Huntington Beach, California during their “Don’t Stop Skankin’ Tour,” known for their upbeat stage presence and fun loving crowds, this is sure to be an entertaining night. “This was probably one of the best shows I’ve been to in a very long time,” an attendee at their New Jersey concert said. Their Fort Lauderdale show will be general admission with tickets priced at 31 dollars.

 

Dance at Soulfrito Music Festival

Where: Sun Life Stadium

When: Saturday, February 22, all day

What: Come out for the 12th annual Urban Latin Music Festival that showcases a blend of multi-cultural artists from the urban music scene. Along with popular musical performances, live art, and digital installations, DJs will also be present at the event. This year’s headliners include Nas, Victor Manuelle, Don Omar and Juicy J. Tickets are quickly selling on Ticketmaster starting at 34 dollars.

 

Eat at Palmetto Bay’s Annual Celebration Picnic

Where: Coral Reef Park

When: Saturday, March 1, 11:00am – 2:00pm

What: Join the warm and friendly people of Palmetto Bay as they celebrate their 12th established independent municipality. With an expected crowd of 4,000, the events staff reports that they have ordered 3,000 hot dogs, 4,000 Krispy Kreme donuts, 2,500 slices of pizza, 2,000 bags of chips, 2,000 ears of corn, a mountain of ice, and nearly 6,000 cans of sodas and water. And the best part? It’s all FREE. In order to promote their green initiative, attendees are encouraged to ride bikes, walk and carpool to the party.
