From the uproar of live music performances, to mouthwatering pastries, attendees experience the showcase and the garden as well with its splash pool and petting zoo.

Last Sunday at Pinecrest Gardens, Taste of Pinecrest celebrated their 12th Annual event with a theme of “A Community of Respect – No Place for Hate.” Organized by Pinecrest Business Association and long-time title sponsored by Panter, Panter, & Sampedro, P.A., along with other sponsors such as Lexus of Kendall, Williamson Cadillac, Baptist Health, Jackson South Company Hospital, and The Parenting Plan and Morris & Reynold Insurance. All proceeds from the event directly benefit all five public schools in the local area: Pinecrest Elementary, Palmetto Elementary, Howard Drive Elementary, Palmetto Middle School and Palmetto Senior High.

Dozens of food and business vendors lined across the main ground of the event. Local restaurants and performances by Pinecrest students from schools profited from the event, contributed as well. Moreover, Palmetto High’s football teammates assisted the local restaurants’ and business showcases’ booth on both major and minor aid like carrying boxes to each booth for more supplies.

Beside the refreshments and meals booth, the event included unique opportunities to learn such as cooking demonstrations at the culinary corner and hands-on activities, appealing to all age groups. Furthermore, it contained family activities, such as the interactive yoga presentation demonstrated by Corpo Yoga Studio. They also encouraged attendees to ride their bikes to the event by providing complimentary bike valet.
